Crash testing a $2,200,000 Rimac Nevera | Rimac


As far as I know, there hasn’t been a Rimac Nevera delivered to a customer yet, and while we are talking about a €2,000,000 all-electric hypercar (that’s over $2,250,000), it seems not all the official crash testing have been concluded yet to fully homologate this amazing car from Croatia for sale in Europe and the United States of America.

We are talking about a 1,914 hp hypercar that delivers 2,360 Nm of torque, with that much power it’s almost irrelevant to quote acceleration figures from 0 to 100 km/h, the Rimac Nevera takes just 9.3 seconds to reach 300 km/h, a time most family saloons take to reach 100 km/h, just in case you really want to know, it takes just 1.85 seconds to reach 60 mph, and more importantly, only 150 units will be made for the entire world for a car that comes with a top speed of 258 mph (412 km/h).

To make sure the two occupants are safe at all costs, no matter what they encounter while driving this high-power hypercar, even a Nevera has to be submitted to crash testing, and one of the final tests, a sideways crash into a pole, has just been completed under the watchful eye of Mat Watson from CarWOW, check out the video below:

I have to admit, there is something about seeing such a high-value hypercar during official crash tests…
